I want the pictures of my models to look like the models do in person. I know there are after effects and tricks that will make the pictures “pop” but I am more interested in the pictures showing the detail as painted. Below are some experiments. They are close but I am not 100% happy with them.
This is an outstanding sculpt. Nice detail, full of character and it gave me a place to stretch my skills. Overall I’m pleased with the black and the green energy effect. The freehand on the skirt is based on spending too much time looking at “Oriental Lotus Pattern Dress” on Google Images.
I have the colors blocked in. Her face and arms are finished. Next I’ll start to detail, shade and highlight. Plans are for OSL from the green and a pattern of purple lotuses on the white dress.
I am anxious to try her in the condition-based strats. What are your thoughts on her?

Finally finished this fine sculpt. Only one more to paint up. Very happy with the flesh contrast and rusted metal. Not overly happy with his face. Seal and move on!
